Returning Student Academic Year Cancellation Requests
- To be without penalty, notice of cancellation must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on April 5, 2013, or the date indicated in your initial assignment, to cancel an academic year or fall only housing assignment.
- Applicants who cancel after 5:00 p.m. on April 5, 2013 and prior to 5:00 p.m. on May 15, 2013, will be assessed a $500 late cancellation fee.
- After 5:00 p.m. on May 15, 2013, applicants are responsible for all fees due under or as a consequence of the License for the entire License period.
- Returning students on the waitlist may cancel their application at any time.
To cancel a 2013-14 academic year housing application or assignment, returning students must submit a Returning Student Cancellation Request Form.
Entering Student Cancellation Requests
- To be without penalty, notice of cancellation must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on June 28, 2013, or the date indicated in your initial assignment, to cancel an academic year or fall only housing assignment.
- Applicants who cancel after 5:00 p.m. on June 28, 2013 and prior to 5:00 p.m. on August 1, 2013 will be assessed a $1200 late cancellation fee.
- After 5:00 p.m. on August 1, 2013, applicants are responsible for all fees due under or as a consequence of the License for the entire License period.
- Entering students not assigned or on the waitlist may cancel their application at any time.
To cancel a 2013-14 academic year housing application or assignment, returning students must submit an Entering Student Cancellation Request Form.
Summer 2013 Cancellation Requests
The cancellation deadline for spring 2013 graduates and returning students with a confirmed summer 2013 housing assignment is April 12, 2013.
To cancel a summer 2013 housing application or assignment, spring 2013 graduates and returning students must submit the Summer Cancellation Request Form.
Spring 2014 Cancellation Requests
Residents with a 2013-14 Academic Year Housing Assignment are assigned for the full academic year license period. After the applicable cancellation deadlines, as indicated in the 2013-14 Housing Application and License, the licensee is responsible for all fees due under or as a consequence of the License for the entire License period.
Applicants for Spring Semester housing assignment must submit Spring 2014 Housing Cancellation Request by 5:00 p.m. on December 13, 2013, to be without penalty. Those asigned after December 13, 2013, have 48 hours after notification to cancel without penalty.
