Several sessions devoted to better familiarizing JSD students and candidates with various scholarly methodologies are organized during the academic year. The goal of these seminars is to expose students and candidates to different methods of crafting scholarly legal arguments, with a view to enriching the quality of their dissertations. Each seminar is led by a faculty member and attended by JSD students, candidates and Visiting Doctoral Researchers. All first through third year JSD students and candidates, along with Visiting Doctoral Researchers, are required to attend each session.
