Guidelines

Articles should be interesting and engaging. We are concerned with substance over form and ask that articles address aspects of liberty in a lively, clear, and concise fashion. Please consider the following suggestions when submitting your article:
  • Subject Matter - The Journal publishes articles and essays relating to liberty and classical liberalism conceived in the broadest sense. We encourage multidisciplinary submissions.
  • Length - The Journal welcomes well-written articles and essays of any length. The length should simply be what is necessary and sufficient to communicate the author's well-considered ideas.
  • Citations - Please footnote only when necessary or helpful. We deplore excessive, redundant, and verbose footnotes. Please use standard Bluebook format.
