Barry Adler critiques Chrysler and GM bankruptcies in inaugural Petrie Lecture (VIDEO)

The inaugural lecture of the Bernard Petrie Professorship of Law and Business, delivered by Barry Adler on April 20, focused on “The Salvation and Subversion of Capitalism: Chrysler, General Motors, and the Use of Government Sponsored Bankruptcy.”

At a dinner the same evening, Charles D. Klein '63, an NYU School of Law trustee and an instrumental figure in establishing the Bernard Petrie Professorship of Law and Business, received the Law School's highest alumni honor, the Arthur T. Vanderbilt Medal.
