Students stage an international competition at the 2017 NYU Law Revue

The NYU Law Revue, a musical parody of the law school experience written, produced, and performed by law students, is a decades-old Law School tradition. This year's edition—Law Revue’s 43rd—was titled Cool Gunnings and told the tale of Becca and Sam, two 3Ls from NYU Law who travel to London to compete in the League of Law Students (LOLS) Championships, a fictional, prestigious legal competition with events that include the Highlighter Race, Jury Selection Jugular, and Legal Twister. It also included humorous skits with subjects like the US Supreme Court's difficulty making decisions with only eight justices and a 1L student who can't escape the advice of 2Ls.
