He edited The Economics of Ancient Law, an 800-page complation of articles—including four written by Miller—that explores the relationship between economics and law in ancient societies. Miller also co-authored The Origins of the Necessary and Proper Clause, which traces the lineage of one of the most important provisions of the Constitution.
