Mapping Summer 2015: NYU Law faculty engage with legal issues here and abroad

When classes end each May, NYU School of Law faculty disperse from campus to give lectures, attend workshops, pursue research, and connect with colleagues around the world. We’ve assembled their Summer 2015 points of destination into an interactive map. Click here to view the full map.

Zoom in to isolate pins clustered in cities such as Florence (five appearances) and Beijing (two), where multiple faculty members made stops. Zoom out to see the full scope of their travel. Then click on the purple map pins to read about faculty appearances or use the left-hand panel for easy navigation. For instance, you can follow Jennifer Arlen ’86, Norma Z. Paige Professor of Law, all the way to Bangkok, Thailand—over 8,000 miles from campus—where she delivered the keynote at the Third Annual Thai National Anti-Corruption Commission Conference, where the current prime minister of Thailand also spoke. You’ll also find that Eleanor Fox ’61, Walter J. Derenberg Professor of Trade Regulation, engaged with other scholars on no less than four continents, and delivered her 31st annual lecture in Brussels to the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission.
