Stewart elected to the American College of Environmental Lawyers

Richard Stewart, University Professor and John Edward Sexton Professor of Law, has been elected to the American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL), a group of environmental practitioners from around the country formed in July 2007. ACOEL recently expanded its membership to include academics, government officials, and representatives of non-governmental organizations.

The group, which meets once or twice annually, will host its next conference in October in Portland, Maine.
