Taiwanese President Ma Ying-jeou (LL.M. '76) visits NYU Law

President Ma Ying-jeou (LL.M. '76) is greeted by NYU President John Sexton in the courtyard of Vanderbilt Hall.

Earlier this week, President Ma Ying-jeou (LL.M. ’76) of Taiwan visited NYU Law during a two-day stop in New York City. President Ma revisited some of his favorite Law School spots, and was also greeted by NYU President John Sexton.

This is the first time Ma has returned to New York since he was first elected in 2008. In addition to visiting NYU Law, Ma also attended a breakfast with Mayor Michael Bloomberg, visited the September 11th Memorial and Museum, attended a luncheon with U.S. business leaders, and met with former U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao, who was born in Taiwan.
