Legally Blonde producer Marc Platt ’82 has just released Rachel Getting Married, a feature film opening today in New York and Los Angeles. The film stars Anne Hathaway as a recovering addict released from rehab to attend her sister’s wedding. A.O. Scott of the New York Times chose it as an NYT Critics’ Pick and writes that the film “is so persuasively forgiving of the flaws of its inhabitants that you can only respond, in like spirit, with love.” The movie also features University Professor Anna Deavere Smith.
