NYU Law to host 17th annual Public Service Auction February 24

Luxury seats, coveted experiences and intimate gatherings with influential and important people are some of the big-ticket items up for bid at the NYU School of Law's 17th annual Public Service Auction on Feburary 24. Last year’s sales raised almost $100,000 for public interest summer funding grants for 1Ls and 2Ls to work at organizations around the globe. This year, the goal is $150,000.

The silent auction, which runs from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. in Greenberg Lounge, features hundreds of items and services donated by alumni, faculty, students, and local businesses.

The live auction in Tishman Auditorium includes a chance to take on Dean Revesz in a Wii Tennis match, as well as these other prizes:

Play ball with Professor Richard Epstein--and go to dinner at one of his favorite New York City restaurants. Bidders need not be ballers—get five on the court, then pile on coaches and cheerleaders; the entire group gets a meal. This item is valued at $500;

Spend a day in the world's first all-electric sports car. A winning bid earns eight hours in a Tesla Roadster, the first production vehicle to travel more than 200 miles on a single electric charge. Go 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds in an all-electric performance car.

Watch the Yankees with three friends from the Delta Sky 360 Suite at Yankee Stadium. Includes food delivered to your seat, inside and outside viewing areas, private restrooms, and an incredible view of the infield from behind home plate. Game day is Tuesday, May 10 when the Yankees take on the Kansas City Royals. Valued at $375 each.
