Moreno '90 confirmed for Justice Department post

Ignacia Moreno '90, nominated by President Obama last May to be Assistant Attorney General for Environment and Natural Resources at the U.S. Department of Justice, was confirmed by the Senate, 93-0, on November 5.

Moreno is a leading practitioner in the field of environmental and natural resources law, with over 18 years of experience in the federal government and in private and corporate practice. She is currently counsel, corporate environmental programs, at the General Electric Company, and she serves pro bono as general counsel to the Hispanic National Bar Association.
