Lopez '96 and Herlihy '92 write screenplay for Adam Sandler hit

Matt Lopez '96 and Tim Herlihy '92 are the cowriters of the screenplay for Bedtime Stories, released by Walt Disney Pictures on December 25 and starring Adam Sandler as a handyman who tells his niece and nephew stories that magically come to life. The movie, which came in second at the box office in both of its first two weekends, has grossed more than $85 million to date. Herlihy has written screenplays for a number of previous Sandler comedies, including Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, and The Waterboy.
