Labor experts discuss the future of employment law under the Obama administration (VIDEO)

On November 21, six labor experts gathered at the NYU School of Law to discuss how labor and employment law are likely to develop under the administration of President-elect Barack Obama. The panel, entitled “Labor Law Under the Obama Administration,” consisted of Rosemary Alito, partner at K&L Gates LLP; Jonathan P. Hiatt, general counsel at the AFL-CIO; Peter Hurtgen, senior counsel at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and former member and chair of National Labor Relations Board (NLRB); Thomas A. Kochan, the George Maverick Bunker Professor of Management at MIT; Andrew M. Kramer, partner at Jones Day; and Hon. Wilma B. Liebman, member of the NLRB. Marshall B. Babson, partner at Hughes Hubbard & Reed and former member of the NLRB, served as moderator.
