Eloise Gore '79 chosen as advisor to FCC commissioner

On July 6, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced the selection of Eloise Gore '79 as acting media legal advisor to Commissioner Mignon Clyburn. Gore has been associate bureau chief in the FCC’s Media Bureau since 2008.

During her 14-year career at the FCC, Gore has overseen the digital television transition and has been responsible for the implementation of the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act. In her new role, Gore advises Clyburn on issues related to broadcast television and radio and multichannel video programming distribution.
