Paul Francis '80 joins Andrew Cuomo's gubernatorial campaign

Law School Trustee Paul Francis '80 has joined New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s gubernatorial campaign as an advisor on budget and policy issues. Francis, most recently a senior executive in Bloomberg LP’s financial products group, previously was director of state operations under former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. During Spitzer’s 2006 campaign, Francis served as policy director.

Francis was also chief financial officer at Princeline.com and Ann Taylor Stores and a managing director of Merrill Lynch. In April 2010, Francis was elected to the board of directors of the health services research and philanthropic organization United Hospital Fund.
