Ford Foundation names 25 NYU Law students as fellows for summer 2013

The Ford Foundation has selected 25 NYU Law students for its inaugural law school fellowship program. Last fall the foundation announced that it had selected NYU as one of four law school partners for the program, which will provide 1L and 2L students with 10-week summer placements at Ford Foundation grantee organizations around the world.

“The students receiving the Ford Fellowship represent the high caliber of public interest talent at NYU School of Law,” said Denise Tomasini-Joshi, assistant dean for public service at the Public Interest Law Center. “They honor NYU’s tradition of public service and rigorous scholarship and will undoubtedly use their experience with the Ford Fellowship as a springboard to a career making positive change.”
