As part of the Law School’s Brown Bags and Books series, past Global Visiting Professor of Law Alex Boraine spoke about his new memoir A Life in Transition on October 1. In the book, Boraine traces his rise from working-class origins to the presidency of the Methodist Church of South Africa, and recounts his experiences working to heal the ravages of Apartheid with Archbishop Desmond Tutu on the Truth and Reconciliation Committee.
