Former Fritz Alexander Fellow Alison Nathan nominated for the U.S. District Court by President Obama

On March 31, Alison Nathan, a 2008 Alexander Fellow, was nominated for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York by President Barack Obama. Nathan, who is special counsel to the solicitor general of New York, served as a special assistant to the president and an associate White House counsel from 2009 to 2010.

“Alison Nathan is a distinguished individual who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to justice throughout her career,” said President Obama in a statement. “I am grateful for her decision to serve the American people from the District Court bench.”
