Substantial Performance is NYU Law's only student a cappella group! We are an all-gender ensemble of typically 12 to 18 students and we sing a mixture of pop, oldies, doo-wop, choral, and non-traditional a cappella songs. Singing with SP provides an amazing break from legal work, a fun musical outlet, and a great way to connect with folks from around the law school. SP holds one concert at the end of each semester, and we also enjoy spending time together at various social events throughout the year.
