The Prosecution Legal Society supports students interested in prosecution, promotes knowledge of and access to prosecution as a career through mentorship and shared experience, and cultivates thoughtful discussion in the community about criminal justice. We organize panel discussions with career prosecutors and host informal sessions to discuss prosecutorial clinics, summer programs, and post-law school opportunities. The group provides a forum for like-minded students to find each other and share their interest in prosecution from the first day of law school to students’ last. PLS has proven to be an important analogue to defense-oriented student groups at NYU and continues to grow each year.
