OUTLaw

OUTLaw: About Us

About

OUTLaw is an organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, gender non-conforming, intersex, and queer law students, as well as their supporters and friends. Throughout the year, OUTLaw sponsors activities, panels, social events, service projects, and political actions that bring members of our community together and provide a lasting network of support for queer students and graduates of the Law School.

Check out our News and Events page or instagram (@nyuoutlaw) for upcoming activities, and feel free to contact any one of our current board members for information on how to get involved!

Mission

OUTLaw's mission encompasses political, educational, social, and familial goals. We work to support LGBT-positive policies and legislation at NYU School of Law, in New York City and State, and nationwide. We strive to educate our community about LGBT issues. We seek to promote queer visibility on campus and to keep LGBT issues in the public consciousness at NYU School of Law and at large.

Supporters

It is because of the support we receive from the legal community that we are able to provide such wonderful events for our members. We would like to thank the following law firms for their generous support of OUTLaw:
