Virginia AG Filed Criminal Charges against Wildlife Traffickers

Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring filed criminal charges against the owners of Myrtle Beach Safari and Wilson’s Wild Animal Park for repeated violations of the Endangered Species Act’s prohibitions on wildlife trafficking. The charges were filed after a months-long investigation revealed evidence that the facility owners and several affiliated parties trafficked lion cubs between Virginia and South Carolina.
