Three AGs Filed Comments with FERC on Competition for Transmission Projects in ISO New England

Connecticut Attorney General William Tong, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey and Maine Attorney General Aaron Frey sent a letter to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) urging the commission to require ISO New England to remove impediments to effective competition for transmission projects. In their letter, the attorneys general emphasized that “[f]undamentally, ISO-NE has yet to embrace the benefits of competition and the fact that there are clear advantages to competitive solutions to solve transmission needs.”
