Jennifer Lan is a first-year student at NYU Law. Originally from California, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT and a Master of Science in High Performance Structures from Stanford. After graduating, she worked as a structural engineer in New York City, and is licensed to practice in New York and California. She serves on various building code committees and has taught at the Yale School of Architecture. She is currently a Desmarais Scholar. She is interested in the interaction of law, innovation, and economy.
