The NYU School of Law Laptops website provides information and support regarding laptop usage at the Law School. We will list any important announcements on this page. In addition, you'll find steps on how to configure and troubleshoot your wireless connection at the Law School, how to install your in-class exam software, how to ensure your laptop is exam-ready, and much more.
Announcements
- Student Support will be offering Exam Demos for both in-class exam software and take-home exams. Scheduled dates and locations are:

- In-class exam software: Thursday November 19th, 5pm in FH 214, Friday November 20th, 2pm in FH C04 & Monday November 23rd, 4pm in FH 216
- THES: Thursday, November 19th 6pm in FH 214, Friday November 20th, 3pm in FH C04, & Monday November 23rd, 5pm in FH 21
- 22 Oct 2009 - Announcement regarding Operating System Upgrades: Snow Leopard and Windows 7 are now official supported.
- Student Laptop Support has officially moved to the Isaac Smalls Room in the Library. The ISR is located on the mezzanine level of the Library between Furman and VH. Look in the alcove on the South side and you'll find us there. Click here for a map.

The Law School IT Department provides general support for laptops. Listed below you'll find several ways through which you can help yourself. If none of these provides an adequate resolution you may contact us or you can sign up for a troubleshooting session with one of our technicians.
