Graduate Tax Program

Tuition and Fees

Continuing and newly admitted degree and certificate students will be billed for summer classes by the Bursar through their NYU Statement of Account.

For all other students, tuition and fees must be paid in full before the first class meeting. Students who have not fully paid tuition and fees before their first class meeting will not be permitted to attend class. Current tuition and fees can be found on the Bursar's Office website.  In summer 2012, tuition is $2040 per credit, with additional registration fees and a chanrge for health insurance which can be waived.

Students not billed through the Bursar may pay by check or money order payable to New York University to be included with the Summer Registration Form.  Credit cards are no longer accepted for tuition payments.

Tuition for dropped classes will be refunded according to the schedules listed on the summer registration form and ithe accompanying instructions.   Requests to drop a class can be handled in person during business hours at the Office of Records and Registration at 245 Sullivan Street, emailed to Robertson@exchange.law.nyu.edu (state unequivicably that you wish to drop the class), or you may fax a request to (212) 995-4407. The date of receipt by the Law School of the Drop Form or email request is the date used to calculate any potential refund (should one be available), not the last date of attendance in class. Online classes also take into account the number of videos watched, but a student is liable for tuition once they register for a course, even if they do not attend class or watch the videos.  It is this official date that serves as the basis for computing any refund granted to the student.  J.D. degree candidates are not eligible to take online courses.   Students in summer online classes who do not meet the attendance deadline are barred from receiving any refund.

The refund schedules can be found in the registration document.
