Graduate Tax Program

Registration

The summer session is open to both NYU School of Law degree and certificate students and non-matriculants. This includes degree candidates at other institutions, NYU School of Law alumni, and non-matriculants. All students will use the Summer Registration Form, not Albert or ABRA to register.   Prior coursework on U.S. Federal Income Taxation will be required to take some of these summer tax courses.

NYU School of Law LL.M. students and Advanced Professional Certificate students must take summer courses for a letter grade, but others may take courses on a credit/fail basis. Students from other law schools should contact their home school to determine whether they must take summer courses for a letter grade to be eligible for transfer credit. A non-matriculant student has the option of taking summer courses for a letter grade, and if the student receives a C or better, he or she may apply the credits earned to an NYU School of Law degree or certificate, should the student decide to enroll in a degree or certificate program.

Summer courses may not be audited by non-degree candidates, but such students may register for summer courses on a letter grade or pass/fail basis.

The Summer Registration Form should bedirected to the Office of Records and Registration, 245 Sullivan Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10012, (212) 998-6040, law.registration@nyu.edu.
