Advocates for the Arts
New York University School of Law Advocates for the Arts fosters interest in the arts and educates the NYU School of Law community aobut the roles lawyers play in the arts, entertainment, and sports.
Located in the greatest cultural city in the world, we support local artists and serve as an aoutlet for the Law School community to pursue new and old artistic interests. Advocates for the Arts provides a forum to explore current issues such as censorship, copyright, and contract negotiations. We also develop relationships with lawyers through internship program, Bar Association functions, and involvement in programs such as Gen Art and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
