Student Group Logistics
There are over 70 different student groups that make up our Student Bar Association. Some groups have or share offices in the basement of the Mercer Residence. These groups usually have a bulletin board on their door for posting announcements or leaving notes. Student Group Mailboxes are located in Kushner Lounge, (VH110).
How to Reserve Meeting Space
Space is very limited so book as early as possible. Avoid having events during the quiet period before final exams and holiday weekends. Please note January and February are ideal months of the year for your events. To book space you must have your Student Group Account Number. To reserve John Sexton Lounge, Wachtell Café or Kushner Lounge or if you have questions about special event rooms (i.e. Greenberg Lounge, Lipton Hall) for your large events, contact Sue Anderson sue.anderson@nyu.edu in Student Affairs. For smaller space needs for meetings and small panels you can go directly to the Space Booking System. https://its.law.nyu.edu/cse/sbs
For special event rooms (i.e. Greenberg Lounge, Tishman Auditorium, Lipton Hall, Faculty Club, Snow Dining Room, Lester Pollack Colloquium, and Support Room 910) there will be a minimum setup charge of $105.00 http://www.law.nyu.edu/specialevents/ratesexpenses/venuerates/index.htm
