The SBA also has the responsibility to make appointments to the Student-Faculty Committees. The student-faculty committee appointees work closely with members of the faculty to provide a student voice in faculty decisions and advocate for students on crucial matters before the Law School’s faculty. You will have the opportunity to work with important NYU faculty, and report to the SBA on important faculty matters.
Student members to the committees for 2014-2015 will be appointed in the spring of 2014. Appointments are made by the SBA President with the advice and consent of the SBA Board of Governors.
Past experience is not required, but preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate interest in the work of the committee for which they are applying and who demonstrate that they will bring dedication and energy to their post.
If you are interested in serving on one of our student faculty committees for 2013-2014, please email 1) a list of your top three committee choices, and 2) a brief personal statement (250 word maximum) describing your interest to email@example.com by 5pm Friday, April 18, 2014.
