Student Bar Association

Officers

The members of the Student Bar Association come from diverse backgrounds and have very different career goals, but are all committed to strengthening our Law School community.  We welcome all members of the community to approach us with ideas or issues that they would like the SBA to address.  We are often available in person, and always accessible via email.

The SBA is comprised of a seven-person Executive Board and a number of Class Representatives.  The 1L Representatives are elected by their respective sections, while the 2L, 3L, and LL.M. Representatives are elected by all members of their graduating classes.  The President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, two Social Chair, and all-University Student Senator (collectively, the Executive Board) are elected in school-wide contests held in the spring of the previous calendar year.

The SBA has standing committees to address matters on which the Association regularly works.  Each standing committee is chaired by an Executive Board member.  Ad hoc committees are created at the discretion of the President to address concerns as needed.
