Examples include: death of a family member, onset of illness (physical and/or mental), and need for exam accommodations beyond what is available through the Office of Academic Services. Under these special circumstances, the Office of Student Affairs will work with the Office of Academic Services to assist you. To request an exam postponement or accommodation, please click here, and submit an email explaining your request, to the Office of Student Affairs in Furman Hall, Suite 474 or via e-mail at law.studentaffairs@nyu.edu. Please note that all requests are kept confidential.

Study Spaces
SBA Study Rooms
The SBA oversees the reservation process of the group study rooms (312, 320, 322, and 336) in Furman Hall. They are available for use from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. by making a request here: https://its.law.nyu.edu/groupstudy/.
The SBA requests that you understand the following:
• Group study room priority usage is for groups of 2 or more people with proof of advance reservation.
• The rooms may be booked up to seven days in advance and are available for 2 hours per session per group per day.
• Group study room users without reservations must vacate the room when requested by a group with proof of valid reservation.
• There is a ten-minute grace period for reservations. If the group (2 or more people) is not present within the grace period, the reservation is invalid, and another group may use the room.
