Convocation Attire

ORDERING ATTIRE
Candidate orders must be received on-line by Monday, April 8, 2013. Order online at: www.herffjones.com/college/nyu.


ATTIRE FOR CONVOCATION & COMMENCEMENT
If you plan to attend both ceremonies--University Commencement at Yankee stadium and Law School Convocation at the Beacon Theatre--please be sure to hold onto your academic attire at the conclusion of the University Commencement ceremony on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.  This is the same attire you will wear to the Convocation ceremony on Friday, May 24, 2013.

ATTIRE DISTRIBUTION
By placing your order on the Herff Jones website by Monday, April 8, 2013, you will be eligible to pick up your attire in Golding Lounge East during the following dates and times:

     Monday, May 6th through Thursday, May 9th from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
     Friday, May 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

LATE ORDERS
If you miss the April 8th deadline, you must place and pick-up a late order starting TBD, during regular distribution hours.  Go to the Barrie Dance Studio, on the first floor of Jerome S. Coles Sport Center, located at 181 Mercer Street.  A Representative of Herff Jones, Inc., will be available to take and fill your late order in one transaction.  All late orders must be paid by cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover).

Please understand that the rental firm might have to make substitutions to fill late orders.


THIRD PARTY ATTIRE PICK-UP
If the degree candidate lives out of state or cannot pick up academic attire at the times allotted, a third party may pick up the academic attire providing the following documentation is presented:

  • Photocopy of graduating candidate's ID
  • A signed letter from the degree candidate authorizing attire pick-up
  • A copy of the online order confirmation
  • Photocopy of the ID of the person picking up the attire

Please understand that the rental firm might have to make substitutions to fill late orders.


ATTIRE RETURNS
Representatives from Herff Jones will be on site at the Beacon Theatre to collect your academic attire at the conclusion of the Convocation ceremony. Students who do not return their attire concluding the Convocation ceremony will be responsible for shipping it at their own expense to:
