Beacon Theatre

Platform Party Arrival: Citrus Restaurant
320 Amsterdam Avenue at W75th Street
J.D. Ceremony at 9:30 a.m.
LL.M. & J.S.D Ceremony at 1:30 p.m.
Processional Line-Up: J.D. Ceremony at 10:15 a.m.
LL.M. & J.S.D Ceremony at 3:15 p.m.
Ceremony Length: J.D., 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (approximately)
LL.M. & J.S.D., 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (approximately)
Arrival
Upon arrival at Citrus Restaurant NYU staff will greet you and give you directions for the processional. A light breakfast and/or lunch will be available. Citrus Restaurant is located directly across from the Beacon Theatre.
Robing
Robing will take place at Citrus Restaurant. We have arranged to have the academic attire that was ordered for you pressed and delivered to Citrus. It will be distributed to you when you arrive. Coat check and Security will be provided so you can leave your belongings at Citrus during the ceremony. Please note following the ceremony, you will be responsible for returning your academic attire to Citrus.
Photography
The Law School photographer will be in Citrus to photograph the platform party, special guests, trustees, donors and students.
Processional
All members of the platform party will begin lining up at 10:15 a.m. (J.D. Ceremony), and 3:15 p.m. (LL.M./J.S.D. ceremony). At approximately 10:35 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. respectively, you will walk to the back of the Beacon Theatre and wait until the student processional is completed before processing into the Theatre.
Recessional
There will be a formal recessional at the end of Convocation. Please plan on staying for the entire program and participating in the recessional. The ceremony will end at approximately: 1:30 p.m for J.D., 6:30 p.m. for LL.M. & J.SD.
