Welcome to the New York University School of Law's Student Bar Association Website. The SBA takes on many roles here at NYU School of Law, and we have worked hard to provide this website so that we can share information about the community with you. By clicking on the links above and at the left, you can navigate the site to find information on everything from when and where we meet (all of our meetings are open, and we encourage students to attend and share any concerns they may have during our open forum), to what issues we have been discussing with the administration, to what outlines are available for your courses.
If you are visiting our site from outside NYU School of Law, please note that unless otherwise indicated, all events are restricted to members of the NYU School of Law community (students, faculty, staff and alumni).
Questions
If you have any questions about the SBA or anything on the site, please feel free to contact us at: law.sba@nyu.edu.
A Note on What We Cannot Do
Please note that we cannot provide any legal information or advice to anyone who writes to us, nor can we help you get in touch with students who are matriculated at NYU School of Law. Thank you.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE SBA
Dear Law Students,
The Administration is in the process of implementing a new registration system for the law school. This new system is designed to solve many problems that students have complained about in the past, including the lack of wait-lists for classes. This new system is scheduled to be implemented for the 2007-08 academic term.
Upon request by the SBA, the Administration has agreed to post a document explaining this new registration system to the SBA website. This will allow students to inspect the system and raise any questions or concerns they may have before it becomes active. You are encouraged to review this document before January 15th.
If you have any comments or questions please email them to Johnathan Smith,
johnathan [at] nyu [dot] edu and he will compile all remarks and send them to the Administration.
