Welcome

The Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Union participates in the Board Project in which law students, working with lawyers from the New York Civil Liberties Union, help civilians file complaints against New York City police officers.

We are involve din every step of the process, from helping people fill out complaints, to being advocates during investigations, to appearing and testifying at administrative hearings. We invite speakers to campus on topics ranging from censorship on the Internet to the aftermath of the Shannon Faulkner case, and we are involved in relevant national, local, or law school issues that arise during the year.
