Women of Color Collective Banquet (WoCC)

Friday, February 22, 2013  |  6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Lipton Hall
108 West Third Street New York 10012

The Women of Color Collective (WoCC) Banquet is an annual tradition that allows students to connect with and honor alumnae who have contributed to the Law School community and the legal profession. This year our theme is Building Bridges:  Empowering Change through Collaboration.  A central focus for WoCC this year has been increasing our direct and indirect service in the community, as well as working together with other student groups in order to more effectively tackle larger issues, such as diversity and gender parity, at the law school. This year’s honoree is Dayna Cunningham ‘86, Executive Director of the newly-renamed Community Innovators Lab in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning, until recently known as the Center for Reflective Community Practice.
