The Commentator

The Commentator is the student-run, biweekly newspaper of NYU Law. Now in its 44th year of publication, the award-winning Commentator publishes news pertinent to both the law school and wider venues, as well as arts, opinions, and sports. Writers are given wide latitude in coming up with topics to write about, so they feel free to be creative and write about any topic, movie, book, or event at the law school or abroad that they wish. New staff members – writers, photographers, or editors – are always welcomed.

Issues are published on Mondays, every other week during the semester.  Our issues are available as complete color .PDF files and perhaps one day online. We have officially wrapped up production for the 2011-2012 school year but we're excited to come back next year under Thomas Prieto's leadership!
