Substantial Performance

Substantial Performance is New York University School of Law’s a capella singing group. It’s a co-ed group of about 12 to 18 members. We sing mostly pop songs, however we do have a mix of Oldies, Doo-Wop, and non-traditional a capella songs. The group is a fun break from legal work and one of the only non-legal, artistic, extra-curricular activities at the law school. We have several singing engagements throughout the year including Fall Ball, Spring Fling, Admitted Students Day and a yearly concert at the end of the Spring semester. Membership is based on an audition held early in the Fall semester.
