Asia Law Society
The Asia Law Society puts on panel discussions (including discussions on jobs in Asia, political and legal scholarship), social gatherings (for LLMs and JDs with an interest in Asia and Asia-focused careers to meet), and language tables (for speakers to practice their Asian languages). The highlight of the group is a trip we take every year, subsidized significantly, to an Asian city, to explore legal careers in Asia first-hand. We also communicate details of relevant events related to Asia and law that are happening at NYU or elsewhere in the city.
