The schools and colleges of New York University join together in celebrating one Commencement ceremony each year. This invitation is extended to all graduates and degree candidates for the 2013-2014 academic year. The ceremony includes a presidential address, an undergraduate and a graduate student speaker, the awarding of honorary degrees to a number of distinguished individuals, and the conferring of degrees and certificates. The program concludes with the ceremonial passing of the University torch.
Note: Please be mindful that you will be seated outdoors, therefore you are reminded to dress for the elements.

**STUDENT SPEAKER NOMINATIONS FOR ALL UNIVERSITY COMMENCEMENT**

Each school will nominate one of its students to serve as the student speaker.
If interested, submit your resume (not to exceed two pages), a sample presentation statement that conveys your proposed speech and please answer the following questions:
