Venue Description
Tishman Auditorium is located on the first floor of Vanderbilt Hall. The auditorium can accommodate up to 450 people, and each chair has an attached, flip-up writing desk. The proscenium arched stage measures 30 x 15 feet, and there is 3 feet of space between the stage and the first row of seats.
Since Tishman is a lecture hall as opposed to a theater, stage lighting is minimal. The Office of Conferencing and Special Events can assist you with ordering additional lighting for your particular needs. The auditorium is equipped with a projection booth and a screen, which lowers from the ceiling for multi-media presentations.
