The Docket

Instructions for Submissions

The Docket is a weekly publication of New York University School of Law that publishes notices of NYU School of Law events, course announcements, administrative bulletins, notices from student organizations, and other notices of general interest to the Law School community.

Personal or editorial messages, business advertisements, notices that promote illegal activities, or notices that are inconsistent with the Law School's non-discrimination policy will not be published.

The Docket is published every Tuesday while classes are in session. Notices are due by 12:00 noon on the Thursday before Tuesday's issue. If you have any questions or suggestions, you may stop by or call Travis Mushett at (212) 998-6279.

How to Submit
All submissions to The Docket should be sent through our Digital Docket Submission Form on this site. For technical reasons, it is advisable to use Internet Explorer if you are using a PC and Netscape if you are using a Macintosh. There is a review page to check over your submission before it is sent. If you find an error in your submission, simply press the "Revise Request" button to go back and make the necessary changes. If you leave one or more fields blank on the submission form, enter an invalid email address, or enter text in ALL CAPS, you will be asked to revise and resubmit your entry. The form will also prompt you if you do not select a calendar entry in order to confirm that your event/notice does not need to be listed in the Calendar of Events.

You will be notified that your submission has been sent once you press the "Submit Request" button. Please note that this is not a confirmation of receipt. You should receive an email confirmation within 30 minutes. Contact Travis Mushett at (212) 998-6279 if you do not receive an email confirmation.

Remember that a separate Docket submission form must be used for each entry. Contact Travis Mushett if you have any questions or problems. Please avoid using ALL CAPS or any other formatting. Detailed instructions are posted in Vanderbilt Hall or can be faxed to you. Call Travis Mushett at (212) 998-6279 for instructions or questions.
