The Public Interest Law Center (PILC) is the headquarters for public service law at NYU. Some services we provide are:

  • support and counsel students and alumni about their internship, fellowship and post-graduate job searches;
  • hold information session on a wide range of public interest job search topics and host lectures and programs on public interest law;
  • run scholarship, fellowship and summer funding programs for public interest work;

  • create online and written resources to inform students about public service careers;

  • work closely with public interest student groups;

  • and act as a sounding board for students, alumni, faculty, and administrators about public interest law and public service careers.
