Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) Student Grants: PILF awards approximately eight grants annually to students working in public interest law projects and internships during the academic year. Grants are awarded in the amount of $1000. Grant applications are due at the beginning of each semester. Information on application procedures is available from the PILF office at 240 Mercer Street and in the Public Interest Law Center.

New York Women’s Bar Association Foundation (NYWBAF) Fellowship at inMotion: InMotion is a non-profit agency providing free legal services to low-income women throughout New York City, primarily in the areas of matrimonial, family and immigration law; the majority of the women served are survivors of domestic violence. Funded by the NYWBAF, the Intern will work under the direction of inMotion’s staff attorneys and Legal Director to conduct client intake, assist with drafting and filing of legal documents and engage in community outreach.  For more information, stop by the Public Interest Law Center or email us at pilc.info@nyu.edu.
