Middle Eastern Law Students Association

The Middle Eastern Law Students Association (MELSA) provides a support and networking system for the community of law students who are of Middle Eastern descent, including Arab, North African, Iranian, Turkish, Kurdish, and Armenian students. MELSA also works to educate the New York University School of Law community around the social, cultural, political, racial, religious, and economic issues germane to the Middle East and to Middle Easterners in America. Throughout the year, MELSA engages in a variety of cultural, academic, and community-building activities. Please join us whether you are of Middle Eastern descent or you simply have a strong interest in the region.
