Barry Adler presents on bankruptcy reform at the FDIC

On Wednesday, December 11, Barry Adler, Bernard Petrie Professor of Law and Business, presented at the Systemic Resolution Advisory Committee meeting of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). He spoke on bankruptcy and bankruptcy reform, a necessary element for alleviating financial distress at systemically important financial institutions.

This event took place at FDIC headquarters in Washington, DC. Martin Gruenberg, chairman of the FDIC, opened the day’s proceedings, which also included presentations on US bank ratings and international cooperation.
