Journal of Law & Business holds symposium on Dodd-Frank legislation (VIDEO)

On January 21, the NYU Journal of Law & Business held a day-long symposium called “Regulatory Reform and the Future of the U.S. Financial System: An examination of the Dodd-Frank Regulation.” After Henry T. Hu of the University of Texas Law School delivered the keynote address, William Allen, the Nusbaum Professor of Law and Business, moderated the day’s first panel, on derivative regulation.

The second panel, moderated by Assistant Professor Ryan Bubb, focused on banking reform and featured Lawrence White, Arthur E. Imperatore Professor of Economics at NYU’s Stern School of Business. During the third and final panel, discussants considered the future of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
