Fritzsche '09 wins PSLawNet's public interest award

Thomas Fritzsche '09 has received the annual Pro Bono Publico Award from the Public Service Law Network (PSLawNet). He was awarded the national honor for his role in cofounding Just Harvest from Field to Fork, an organization that brings together the causes of farmworkers' rights and support of organic and locally grown foods. An inaugural recipient of the Bickel & Brewer Latino Institute for Human Rights Scholarship, Fritzsche has also worked on behalf of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers and the National Day Laborer Organizing Network. He spent three summers performing health outreach and medical interpreting for farm workers before coming to the Law School.
